Dried Lion’s Mane

Lion’s mane (Hericium erinaceus) is a popular mushroom revered for its health and gastronomic benefits. 
 
In its dried form lion’s mane is used as a fantastic mushroom supplement. Chinese medicine utilised its properties for thousands of years, whilst Buddhist Shaolin monks used them in their meditation practises.  
 
As a gourmet mushroom it can be powdered easily in a blender for some umami dusting on top of your dish. Alternatively, it can be rehydrated in lukewarm water for 30 minutes and cooked the way you like it. Beware, once rehydrated the volume of lion’s mane could increase 10 fold.

Note: This product was packed on premises that handles wild nuts, wild seeds, wild mustard, wild celery, crustaceans & molluscs (present in minute quantities in seaweed).
 
Storage Information
Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.
Dry mushrooms can be stored for several years, however we recommend using them within 12 months from opening.
